How Do I Submit a Recipe?

  1. One recipe can be submitted per person.
  2. Recipes must be original and not copied from books, magazines, blogs, etc.
  3. Take a photo of your dish and upload it along with your recipe (optional).
  4. Recipes should be submitted online. The online submissions form is available from October 1 to November 23, 2022. Submissions will not be accepted by mail or in person.
  5. You do not need to be a professional or accomplished writer to participate in this project. On the submissions form, simply follow the prompts and provide as many details as you can. Use complete sentences and don’t forget to proofread for accuracy.

Please note: You are not guaranteed inclusion in Fairfax County Cooks. Editors have final decision-making authority. This is not a royalty paying project. You are participating as a volunteer.

This initial anthology is in English, but if this pilot program is successful, we hope to have language-specific projects.

See what information is needed for the online submissions form.
