What is the Indie Author Project?

The Indie Author Project (IAP) is a program where indie authors can make their eBooks available through the library. Authors interested in promoting their work and increasing readership and exposure can submit their eBooks to IAP to be featured in BiblioBoard’s statewide Indie Virginia Collection. BiblioBoard and the Indie Author Project team handle all quality control, content vetting and author communication.

What is Indie Author Project Select?
Indie Author Project Select (IAP Select) is a publishing community that includes multiple curation partners (including Library Journal) to help libraries find the best indie books to share with the public.

How did I get my book reviewed?
Submit your eBook to the Indie Author Project or submit from your Pressbooks account. You can also go to the BiblioBoard menu then click “Share Your Book” in the For Authors section.

After a book is vetted, it is made available to participating libraries statewide in the Indie Virginia Collection on BiblioBoard Library.
