Free 1-on-1 business counseling through SCORE program
FCEDA provides business-counseling services through an arrangement with SCORE, a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. SCORE, which stands for Service Corps of Retired Executives, is a nationwide, non-profit volunteer association with more than 12,000 retired and active business owners and executives. SCORE provides one-on-one counseling and mentoring, low-cost business-related workshops and FREE house calls to your business location to conduct business reviews. The Washington, D.C. area chapter has more than 50 expert volunteer members to assist you. A SCORE counselor is available, by appointment only, every Wednesday and Thursday. These virtual appointments are for one hour and must be scheduled in advance.
