Fairfax County Public Library has youth outreach opportunities that don't need to take place in the library! FCPL's Program and Education Services Department have staff dedicated to bringing engaging programs out into the community. We are currently offering dynamic and interesting virtual programs focused on youth interests for children ages 12-18. For every program, FCPL provides the staff and supplies-available for pickup at your local branch or by delivery to your location-at no cost to you. Engaging conversations about social justice topics with books, projects, and activities to help promote healthy discussions and initiate interest in social justice. Each month we will choose a different social justice topic to read about and discuss. Learn about young activists that have made a difference! See below for possible books and discussion topics.

Feeling hungry? Learn to create easy, quick healthy snacks that actually taste good! You will learn basic culinary skills such a peeling, cutting, measuring, how to read a recipe and get introduced to nutrition information.
