My Perfect Read

Rachel Lamantia

I have been a fan of reading since a child. Growing up we listened to audio books while traveling, like The Hobbit and The Golden Compass. I'd say I became hooked on reading when my parents brought home the first Harry Potter book and read it aloud to my brothers and me. Since then, fantasy and young adult literature has been something I have loved. Most recently, I have become hooked on reading romance.

Being new to the NOVA area, I spend my free time exploring the area. I come from Maryland, the Baltimore area. I am a big Ravens and Orioles fan. In my spare time I love to binge too much television, go for walks, do Yoga and shop.

It is my hope that I bring my love of reading and knowledge of certain genres to our library users. I love sharing my favorite books and recent reads.

In addition, I do work throughout the week, but with the new changes in curbside and library services, I may not always be able to respond right away. Please give a day or two for a response. I look forward to your email.
