Reading Challenges for Youth and Adults

Participate in Fairfax County Public Library's reading activities!

Parents and Caregivers: Download and complete the paper reading log with your little one! After completing this log with children, sign into Beanstack to record reading and earn badges. Children will delight in observing you enter their progress and collect their virtual badges. You can also return your log to your local library branch.

'Tis the season for coziness. This winter, we want everyone reading!

Participating is easy:

  1. Go to fairfaxcounty.beanstack.org and register for the Birth - 2nd Grade Winter Reading Challenge 2022
  2.  Log books, read for 20 minutes or do a combination of both. 
  3. Complete the Challenge by earning TWELVE virtual badges. 
  4. Visit a library branch and receive two coupons from the Fairfax County Park Authority

Don't want to use Beanstack to log your reading? Print a paper log or get a paper log from any FCPL branch. Fill out your log and return it to your local library by January 31, 2023.
