  • CFTC — Learn and Protect
    The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission provides resources to check a financial professional's or firm's registration status and disciplinary history, and stay informed about investment fraud.

    Provides an introduction to the markets, investing basics, and information on researching and managing your investments. Special sections address investing for older adults and offer suggestions to prepare for various life events that may affect your financial situation.   • Savings Bonds provides basic information on savings bonds (EE and I) and the ability to purchase bonds online. Redemption tables and a savings bond calculator enable the user to determine the value of their bonds.

  • SEC Filings
    Search EDGAR, an SEC database, for documents filed by public companies with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Information is available back to 1994.
