This online archive contains thousands of full-text articles covering business and nonprofit sector.
Foundation Directory Online Professional (Available at GRTC)
A searchable database of private, corporate and government grant makers. Contains data on foundation’s application process, recently awarded grants, the number and dollar amount of grants made each year, geographic focus, specified areas of interest, contact information, and more. The library provides on-site only access to the FDO Professional at three grant centers located at Reston, Sherwood and Tysons-Pimmit Regional Libraries.
Gale Directory Library
This e-resource includes digital versions of Gale Encyclopedia of Associations: National Organizations of the U.S. and National Directory of Nonprofit Organizations. Data can be searched by organization's name, subject category, state, etc.
MasterFILE Complete
A comprehensive collection of popular full-text magazines and journals, reference books, documents and videos,covering almost every interest and subject, including business and nonprofit sector.

Candid (Formerly Foundation Center)
Information for individuals and nonprofits, including resources for beginning grant seekers and a Knowledge Base of frequently asked questions.
FCPL Grants Research and Training Centers (GRTC)
Free access to Candid databases on grantmakers and grant opportunities for organizations and individuals. Service is currently provided at three library branches: Reston Regional Library; Sherwood Regional Library; and Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library. GRTC is supported by Candid, the Fairfax County Department of Economic Initiatives and Fairfax County Public Library.
Grants.gov
All federal agencies are required to post grant opportunities online. Grants.gov enables you to find and apply for federal grants.
SAM.gov — Assistance Listings (Formerly Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance)
Public descriptions of federal programs that provide grants, loans, scholarships, insurance and other types of assistance awards. You may browse assistance listings across all government agencies to learn about potential funding sources.
