Do you have a design you'd like to print on a 3D printer? If so, Fairfax County Public Library can help. With our new program, we can print your design for free on our 3D printers.
- Read and digitally sign the Terms of Use and Agreement. The form will allow you to:
- Select the library where you want to pick up your printed design (during open hours). Options include:

- Print volume: 11 x 11 x 9.8 (length x width x height in inches)
- Kingstowne Library
- Print volume: 6.7 x 6.3 x 5.7
- Oakton Library
- Print volume: 6.7 x 6.3 x 5.7
- Pohick Regional Library
- Print volume: 6.7 x 6.3 x 5.7
- Reston Regional Library
- Print volume: 169mm x 153mm x 144mm (6.6" x 6" x 5.6")
- Richard Byrd Library
- Print volume: 6.7 x 6.3 x 5.7
- Sherwood Regional Library
- Thomas Jefferson Library
- Print volume: 6.6 x 6.2 x 5.7
- Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library
- Print volume: 169mm x 153mm x 144mm (6.6"x 6" x 5.6")

- Upload your design (file upload is part of the Agreement with Terms of Use form). Files—smaller than 25 MB—must be in .STL, .THING, or .OBJ format.
- Please allow 7–10 days for your design to be completed.
- Look for an email saying that your printed design is ready.
- Print requests remain active for 30 days, at which point files are deleted. Submit a new request if you would like to reprint an item after 30 days.
