Submitting a file to have 3D printed at a Fairfax County Public Library is currently free!
Please note:
- FCPL cardholders may submit one design per week. Designs cannot be copyrighted shapes, weapons, or weapon replicas.
- All files must be submitted by an adult 18 years old (or older).
- Please give us at least 10-14 days to print your design and deliver it to your pickup branch.
- Our goal is a successful print and if there's an issue with a file, we will email you.
- We order red, blue, yellow, pink, green, purple, orange, black, white, and gray filaments, but availability varies. If your color preference is not available, your design will be printed in an available color.
- You will receive an automated email when your print is ready to pick up.
- Your design may need support structures added during printing which you can carefully remove with pliers or a hobby knife.
