Nine winners were selected from our 2024 Where We Belong Art Contest. You can view them in a traveling exhibit throughout Fairfax County at the following locations:
Students across Fairfax County celebrated Immigrant Heritage Month by participating in our art contest! We invited youth to draw inspiration from their families or their communities to portray the colorful, diverse county we share. Students chose one of the following prompts for their art:
Artwork was accepted in any format but needed to be scanned or photographed and submitted via our online form. Three winners will be selected per category: kindergarten-2nd grade, 3rd-6th grade and 7th-12th grade. Winners will receive a Barnes & Noble gift card and have their art displayed in a traveling exhibit.
