How Long May I Borrow An Item?

Most materials in the library branches, including art prints from the George Mason Regional Library, may be borrowed for a loan period of three weeks and may be renewed three times, unless there are FCPL customers waiting on HOLD for the item.

Hot Pick materials may be borrowed for two weeks and are not renewable. Reference material, newspapers and the most current issues of magazines may not be borrowed.

Ebooks and eAudiobooks, available via OverDrive may be borrowed for 7 to 21 days, based on the user selection. Digital media materials cannot be renewed. However, if available, they may be borrowed again once they expire.

How Many Items May I Checkout?

You can check out up to 50 total items at one time from the library. There is a limit of 10 eAudiobooks or eBooks out at one time.
