LibGuide Editor's Guide

The basic steps to create a book carousel:

1. Create a bib record set.
2. Identify the five digit record set ID. Use that record set ID number and name to form the basis of the new carousel.

Here is the default code for the carousel. It should be added to a LibGuide as a "widget."  Replace XXXXX with your record set ID number.  Replace Title of your recommended reading record set with the actual title.

3. Copy this new code to use in your LibGuide.
4. Create a box of the type that is floating so that the record set title appears only once.
5. Add the Media / Widget content to your box.
6. Paste your code.
