Home Delivery Service

  • Who is eligible for home delivery?

Fairfax County and City of Fairfax residents of all ages who are unable to visit a local library due to a temporary or permanent disability may qualify for free home delivery of library materials from the Access Services branch. Materials are borrowed and returned by mail at no cost to the user. Home Delivery customers will also gain access to Libby, the mobile app available from OverDrive, to download eBooks and eAudiobooks.

  • How do I register?

Fill out our online application below. If you need assistance, call 703-324-8380 or TTY 703-324-8365.

  • How does the program work?

We will open a library account for you with Fairfax County Public Library Access Services branch. You may select your own materials and/or our reader advisory staff will select titles for you. Materials are mailed to you in a sturdy blue bag with a return address card.
