Wireless Printing at Your Library

Print wirelessly to your local library!

Wireless printing is available via SmartAlec for all library users. Send a print job from your laptop, desktop computer, tablet or mobile device from home or while visiting a library branch. For instructions, select the appropriate tab for your device below.

What do I need to get started?

What if I don't have a library card?

  • Printing as a guest? Click here and choose "Guest Access" to get started.
  • Provide an email address or number of a text-capable phone. SmartAlec will then send the guest card number and password to you.
  • Write down the guest card number and password if you do not have access to your email or the ability to text on your device.

Please note: While PDFs work best, the following file types should also work: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, csv, txt, html, rtf, jpg, png, bmp, jpeg and heic files.

Troubleshooting

I’m not sure what my account password (PIN) is, or my password isn’t working.

Reset your password online or ask for assistance at the Information Desk.

I don’t see my document in the Print Station queue.

Documents can sometimes take up to five minutes to appear at the Print Station - check again in a few minutes.

I’m still having trouble with mobile printing, or I have another question.

Library staff are here to help! Please visit the Information Desk at any of our library branches.
