The library offers a variety of programs for adults, both in-person at library locations and online. Registration is requested for programs. Invitations to join programs will be emailed 1-2 days before the program starts.

Qigong with Nevin Turk 
In this class Nevin will focus on Qigong movements, self-applied massage, intentional breath awareness and relaxation to balance the nervous system and enhance vitality. Thursdays, starting January 9-January 30 at 9:30 a.m.

Tai-Chi with Sally Harnett-Bartro
Participants will practice gentle movements with each posture flowing into the next, ensuring that your body is in gentle motion. Winter session begins Monday, January 27, at 11:00 a.m. 

Chair & Mat Yoga Class
This gentle class uses both the yoga mat and a chair and is designed for relaxation. Starting Thursday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m.

Sitting Meditation

Breaking Down Barriers
Mary Lipsey explores the narratives of Black residents in Fairfax County, encompassing the experiences of the enslaved, military personnel, educators, entertainers, and community activists who engaged in both national and local matters.  Virtual Event. Wednesday, February 19, 1:00 p.m. Register.
