The library is offering many virtual programs for adults. All events require registration. Invitations to join programs will be emailed 1-2 days before the program starts.

Chair & Mat Yoga Class
This gentle class uses both the yoga mat and a chair and is designed for relaxation. Wednesdays, starting January 10, 10:00 a.m. 

Tai-Chi with Sally Harnett-Bartro
Participants will practice gentle movements with each posture flowing into the next, ensuring that your body is in gentle motion. February 5, 12, 26 & March 4 at 11 a.m.

Music For Social Well-Being
Calvin Earl, the US Spokesman for the African American Spirituals as a National Treasure, will guide this program with singing and storytelling in a fun and joyful gathering. In-person Event at Pohick Regional Library. Wednesday, March 6, 7 p.m. Register.

Women Powering Democracy
Several unique records from the Fairfax Circuit Court Historic Records Center (HRC) archives will be available for viewing followed by discussion of the records by Dr. Jennifer Ritterhouse. In-person Event at the City of Fairfax Regional Library. Tuesday, March 12, 7 p.m. Register.

AmaZine: Women's History Month Zine Workshop
Learn about the history of zines and women's suffrage movements in this workshop presentation - and create your own zine! Zines are small-circulation, uncommercial magazines distributed by their creators to promote social issues or for entertainment purposes.. In-person Event at Dolley Madison Library.  "Hallowed Ground” Storytelling with Sheila Arnold
In the African American culture, there are places that are sacred: from slave quarters to family homes sometimes scarred by prejudice and ignorance; from bridges of the trampled, to churches of the bombed. Historical Musicals

"Locks Opened: Caught!" Storytelling with Sheila Arnold

From Seneca Falls to the Ballot Box | Stories of History, Food & Culture

Craft & Create| Heat Embossing Workshop
