Dearest Dorothy, Are We there Yet? is a story of an active 80--year old who still drives over the speed limit. It starts with Dorothy asking God for directions as to what she should do with her farm: Should she sell or not? She realizes that she is not getting younger and eventually would not be able to take care of the farm.
While she was waiting for the Lord to answer, new people came into her life. When her friend Tess passed away and left all of her estate to her niece, Dorothy helped the niece and son duo with the funeral arrangements and disposing of Tess's stuff.
Although Dorothy's intent was just to help her neighbors, little did she know that they were the answer to her prayers.
