Who Can Join Fairfax County Senior Centers?

Persons 50 years of age and older who meet the eligibility requirements and have paid the annual membership dues.

Able to independently negotiate center facilities and field trip locations safely
|
Able to understand and carry out directions from staff
|
Able to recognize and respond to emergency situations
|
Able to eat independently
|
Able to use the restroom unassisted
|
Willing and able to adhere to the Code of Conduct

Our centers are designed for active and independent adults.

Membership Fees
|
Membership fees for Fairfax County Residents ranges from $24 to $48 annually based on household income.
|
Non-county residents may purchase a membership for $100/year.
|
Membership is valid at all 14 locations throughout the county.

Hours
|
The regular operating hours are weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Some centers may be open evenings or weekends to host special events.

Inclement Weather Policy
|
Fairfax County Government is OPEN and Fairfax County Public Schools are CLOSED or DELAYED:
Senior Centers will open as usual. Transportation and lunch services will not be provided. Classes may be canceled.

Fairfax County Government is DELAYED:
Senior Center hours will be delayed as well.
Transportation and lunch services will not be provided. Classes may be canceled.

Fairfax County Government is closed:
Senior Centers will be closed.
