You will need a Fairfax County Public Library card in order to access eBook services that the library subscribes to, including:

  • Libby, by OverDrive - eBook and eAudiobook collection accessible through an app or browser
  • Digital magazine collection (through Libby)

This guide is intended for:

  • Readers who are brand new to using eBooks
  • Existing readers who need troubleshooting help
  • Readers of all ages!

PLEASE NOTE: The legacy OverDrive app is being discontinued by OverDrive and is no longer available for download from app stores. OverDrive's goal is to fully discontinue the OverDrive app by early 2023. Please use the Libby, by OverDrive app or libbyapp.com instead.
