This book is a take on the Buddhist concept of attending to what is now and what is real. We all get caught up in a story about the past or the future, about our likes or dislikes, about who is right and who is "for" me. This book gives examples about how detaching your identity from the thoughts that pass through your mind and recognizing what is true now will free you from stress. Aside from its value in personal life, this approach can be of great value in reframing stressful interactions at work or in customer service interactions.
