I loved this book so much I read it in one sitting!

Ruby McTavish Callahan Woodward Miller Kenmore has been a lot of things: an heiress who was the richest woman in North Carolina, a four-time widow, and a former kidnapping victim. After her sudden death, her adopted son Camden has been granted ownership of the large estate, as well as her entire fortune. Camden, however, wants absolutely nothing to do with the house, its contents, or the extended McTavish family residing there that have largely treated him as an interloper his entire life. Until Camden's wife, Jules, decides that she would like to see the house and meet this extended family. After some conversation Camden and Jules decide to pack up their lives and move to North Carolina. But there are a lot of things waiting for them. To start, an extended family that has been living off Ruby's wealth and the status of the McTavish name. And a town of people that remember and have missed Camden but for one reason or another feared Ruby. And most importantly, a lot of secrets. Not just the ones tied to all Ruby's deceased husbands, but ones tied to the house and everyone inside it. Including Camden and Jules. Can the past stay buried? What will they have to do to keep it that way?
