Overview of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Programs, Activities and Resources

Welcome to the Fairfax County STEAM Opportunities for Youth page!

We're your first stop in finding fun STEAM activities, information and career ideas for students and their families who have an interest in science, technology, engineering and math, as well as students who want to learn more about STEAM career options. Our goal is to engage families and community partners to help inspire and prepare all Fairfax County youth to succeed and lead in STEAM fields and beyond.

Although many STEAM activities have been closed or cancelled because of the COVID pandemic, many have moved online. Go to Find Opportunities for a list for virtual camps, activities and resources for kids of all ages. Activities are being added to the calendar regularly.Colorful STEAM graphic representing the many aspects of STEAM opportunities for youth.
